Bringing it home – last chance to WIN $1500 skateboard
A special day in my home town of Byron Bay, as i shared my new rad kids title with the community @ the local library. Officially launched last week in the snow town of Jindabyne, yesterday was all about bringing it home and inspiring kids who i mostly new. As a casual school teacher of the area, child care worker of the area, father, Byron Bay under 7′s soccer coach, coordinator of a local charity organisation – The Uncle Project…i was stoked to see all the familiar happy faces that attended.
If you unfortunately missed out and still want a chance a WIN the Fiik Skateboard by buying 1,2 or 3 AKB books, then you have until Thursday next week to enter online – www.ActiveKidsBooks.com

well i’m too late to win a skateboard but what a cool thing to give away! wish i could have entered my little guy into the drawing.
great blog, love what your doing for the kids. keep up the good work.
Aloha long board guy, its nice of you to comment. And i agree, it was a super sweet gift to give away and real good odds in the end. Less than 300 people were in the running. BUt it feels good to give away rad stuff and stoke out another human. I guess thats what i hope my books can do for young readers, just stoke them out and send em’ smiling off to bed.
Have you had a chance to read any of the Active Kids Books yet?
